Tommy had never been to the ghost town at Animas Forks, so we our plans were to go there and then go up Engineer. There were so many people in town and on the trails today. I guess everyone is coming into town for the Hard Rock 100 Race. We did make it to Animas Forks, but decided not to fight the crowds on the trails. Spent the afternoon in the campground visiting friends and just hanging out. Nice, sunny day. Cool, a bit windy, but not too bad. Tommy went over to the track and did some laps.

Important considering how deep the snow was in the winters.
