This morning, Jimmy, Mackie & Tommy took the Gold Mine tour.
After the tour, they were able to practice panning.
Didn't find any gold, but did find some copper.
This afternoon, we headed to Sunnyside Mine to chip at the pink rock wall and do some more panning.
But as has frequently happens this year, we met a snowdrift too far into the road to get thru:

We ended the day at Handlebars for Sunday night's green chili soup.
Tommy had his first chicken fried steak. We have finally filled his tummy.
He passed on S'mores tonight!!
Jim took the kids for driving lessons and it started raining which resulted in this rainbow:
