Sunday, July 27, 2014, 3Ms: Maggie, Minnie & Moose & 26th Musuem

I am editing this post to add Tommy's visit to the museum on the 26th.  Didn't realize that he and Jimmy had taken any pictures when they visited there.

Yep, he's my grandson - found the chocolate!

SATURDAY, JULY 27, 2014:

Jimmy & Tommy agreed to travel Maggie & Minnie Gulches again so that I could see the wildflowers.  It was good to be back out on the trails.  The day started out very overcast and ended with a cold rain.  Some more "firsts" for Tommy today.  He was grappled on; saw a truly environmental truck (it had a tree growing thru the middle); was in a mud slide; and saw a big bull moose dancing in the rain.  He said he had never seen a wild animal that happy.

Starting up Maggie Gulch:

This mountain top received a new dusting of snow today:
Look carefully.  There is a yellow truck with a tree growing thru it.
Been here awhile.  Gets harder to see each year with the foliage growth.

Looking back at it: time to get off the trail:

Sticking his tongue out:
The rest of today's posts are all flowers; wish I had an airplane so I could get a shot of a whole field:
