This morning, we took the Animas River road out of town toward Animas Forks (ghost town). They have started to restore some of these original buildings.
Little Niagara Waterfall:
The only residence in Animas Forks that had an indoor potty.
A long hallway connected to a "3-seater." Important stuff
since the snow probably was as high as the roof.
The old Frisco Mill:
Thought they were going to restore this, but today it had a "for sale" sign in front of it.
Starting up Placer:

The only critters we saw all day were marmots and there were several of those out enjoying the sun:
